The mouse cave is where these mice like to spend time. They're reminiscing about all the exciting adventures they've had and their collection of artifacts. The Japanese glass ball was found on the beach of a South Pacific island. The shells were gathered on a small island off of Key West in Florida. Handy Mouse built a nice display case for them.

Miss Mouse is working on a scrap quilt in her sewing room. She savors the quiet time when the little mice are napping. She loves to sew and use all the worn out mouse clothing in her quilts. Nothing gets wasted. She stores her scraps in her laundry basket that was make using waxed cord and floral wire woven to look like wicker.

This manly mouse cleans the kitchen while he cooks!

Do you see those little Revere Ware pots and pans?  I made them with the liners that hold powdered make up. Those round cake pans are also those same liners.  I found quite a collection of them in the bathroom that my grown daughters used!   I painted the "copper bottoms" with some nail polish that I found in that same bathroom!  I put some masking tape around the little pan to keep the polish where I wanted it. The handles are made with polymer clay that's formed around a metal strip that was cut from some thin metal sheeting (probably a sardine can).  I super glued the handle to the pot and voila!

Mr. Mouse is busy working on the second Adirondack chair.  He's looking forward to relaxing with a friend while enjoying a nice cold one.  His chair plans and tool box are close by. His two saw horses were constructed using Popsicle sticks.  The Garage in the background is a plein air oil painting.

These two mice love to pretend, today they are Indians. The Indian Maiden and her little brother are in front of their teepee that's made with flannel fabric.  Kitchen skewers hold the teepee upright. The leather skirt that the maiden is wearing was made from the finger of a lone work glove, and the vest was cut from another glove scrap. Most of the beading was done on a beading loom by my daughters some years ago.  The Teepee sits on the "grass" made of painted fake fur and the background is a plein air oil painting.
